Our Story
ATARise was born from a simple, yet powerful realisation: too many VCE students go through their final years without ever truly knowing where they stand. In an exam system where a fraction of a mark can change your ATAR by several points, ignorance isn't bliss — it's a disadvantage.
As former VCE students ourselves, we experienced this frustration first-hand. After completing our studies and navigating the uncertainty of predicted scores, we realised that Victorian students lacked the tools other countries took for granted — statewide practice exams, real-time performance benchmarking, and accurate ATAR prediction.
In 2025, we set out to build a statewide mock exam platform — starting with VCE Mathematics and Science, the two subject areas where students need the most support. Our mission is clear: give every student — regardless of school, suburb, or background — the data-driven insights they need to achieve their best ATAR.
We're at the very beginning of our journey. ATARise is launching with Mathematics and Science, and we're already working on expanding to more subjects. Our vision is to become a complete ecosystem of prediction, practice, and personalised learning for every VCE student.
