We strive to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards across all areas of our platform. These guidelines are widely recognised as the benchmark for web accessibility and are referenced by the Australian Government's Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth).
Our platform includes the following accessibility features:
Colour Contrast
All text meets WCAG AA contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
Dark Mode
Full dark mode support to reduce eye strain and assist users with light sensitivity.
Scalable Text
All text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
No Reliance on Colour Alone
Information is conveyed through text, icons, and patterns in addition to colour.
Keyboard Navigation
All interactive elements are fully navigable using keyboard only (Tab, Enter, Escape, Arrow keys).
Skip Links
Skip-to-content links are available on all pages.
Focus Indicators
Visible focus rings appear on all interactive elements for keyboard users.
Consistent Navigation
Navigation patterns are consistent across all pages for predictable interaction.
Semantic HTML
Proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and ARIA attributes throughout.
Image Descriptions
All meaningful images include descriptive alt text.
Form Labels
All form inputs are associated with visible labels and provide clear error messages.
Plain Language
Content is written in clear, straightforward language appropriate for our audience.
Reduced Motion
Animations are minimised or disabled for users who have the prefers-reduced-motion setting enabled.
No Auto-play
Video and audio content does not auto-play.
Touch Targets
All interactive elements meet the minimum touch target size of 44×44 pixels.

PDF-generated study materials may have limited screen reader compatibility.
